Inspired by the reason of science, the Starck Green Reed Diffuser has an elegant and original shape evoking laboratory vessels, an homage to the pharmacist dispenser of the brand. Showcasing exquisite French craftsmanship, the domed base sets this diffuser apart, imparting lightness to the design. Continuing the scientific theme, the metal ring is adorned with an organic pattern inspired by moving molecules. The transparent borosilicate glass is the delicate green hue associated with Starck’s Peau d’Ailleurs body perfume by Annick Menardo. Adapted for reed diffuser use by Maison Berger Paris, the fragrance is an immersive concoction of powdery notes of iris enveloped in green, mineral accords, enhanced by a woody, musky base. Renowned French designer Philippe Starck’s body perfume Peau d’Ailleurs (pronounced “poh dai-YUR”) has been adapted for the home by Maison Berger Paris. With a name that translates loosely to “skin from elsewhere,” this fragrance opens on a fresh and powdery blend of green notes, mineral accords, and violet leaf. Iris and rose entwine in a floral dance in the heart before the composition closes on earthy patchouli, vegetal vetiver, leather, and musk.
